THE DUCKOUT
The Duckout Association believes in the spirit of family, hard work, community, and faith. In order to cultivate these values we strive to create networks of support for hard working students and young adults by providing scholarships, grants, rewards, back to school drives, and The Duckout Sports and Educational Camps. These programs reward and seek to ease the burden many talented young individuals and their families face in a young person’s educational journey.
ABOUT US
The Duckout Association strives to enhance and assist in hardworking students and young peoples’ lives. We do this by providing a variety of opportunities to those hard working students and their families who deserve a helping hand in ensuring their children reach their full potential. Our programs are rooted in the belief that every student and child should have the opportunity to succeed. From our all-encompassing educational sports camps to our mentorship program to our unique Quality of Life Grant we seek to provide guidance, assistance, and opportunity to students from different backgrounds, cities, states, and countries.
Our current goal is to fund the Stop the Violence. Spread Love. Movement.
The Duckout Association strongly believes in providing opportunity to all by creating networks of support in our communities. One of the Duckout’s major efforts to accomplish this is through the Stop the Violence. Spread Love. Movement that seeks to aid the families and loved ones of those lost in police-involved shootings. Join the Duckout Association in building communities where family, hard work, and faith are the means to succeed no matter where you are from. In today’s society more than ever an overwhelming push towards community and love is needed to combat the violence that plagues too many communities and cities across the country.
GRANTS
With each grant or scholarship the Duckout Association seeks to provide opportunities where in many cases there are none. The unique Quality of Life grant is awarded to a hardworking student to cover a variety of expenses not normally covered in scholarships or grants. The QOL grant includes but is not limited to a clothing allowance, food stipend, or rent assistance. The Duckout Association grants, regardless of the type, are awarded to hardworking and gifted students who deserve recognition for their hard work. THE DUCKOUT SPORTS AND EDUCATIONAL CAMPS
The Duckout Association offers a variety of all-encompassing educational sports camps that combine the academic rigor of individual learning with the mental and physical determination required of athletes. In each educational sports camp, specific to age group and sport, there is a dual purpose. Students participating in these camps will experience the practice and games of a traditional sports camp while dually receiving educational assistance in a variety of subjects to ensure their success both on and off the field.
DUCKOUT REWARDS TRIPS
The Duckout Association strongly believes that those who work hard to achieve their goals deserve a reward. The Duckout Rewards Trips, awarded semi-annually, aim at providing a much-needed short vacation to the recipient and a parent. The Duckout Association provides the hotel, the flight to and from the chosen location, and a food allowance. The trips are meant to be a respite from the hard work the student is putting in to achieve his or her goals. Winners will be selected based on a three-minute video submission as to what is the student’s biggest accomplishment and what they did to achieve it.
